The concept of up and down comes from our established thinking about gravity. To respect the unfinished state of the universe, we should stay aware of the limitations of our perceptions and stay curious about all external elements. Let’s assume the black ball and the white ball are respectively in the gravity and non-gravity universes, which are opposite to each other but composed together in this painting. Because the white ball is in a gravity-free universe, the painting can be placed in any direction. At this time, there is no concept of up or down. However, due to the intervention of the black ball in the world of gravity, the white ball had to be placed accordingly. The white ball rotates counterclockwise among the paintings and also rotates counterclockwise indefinitely in each painting. At this time, the black ball is not only a restricted existence of the white ball but also becomes the universe in which the white ball is located.

因为我们对重力的既定性思维，才导致了上和下概念的产生。如果没有重力，就没有上和下。永远保持对自我意识局限性的认知，并保持对外界一切因素的好奇心，是我们对宇宙未完成状态的尊重。一切不可能真是存的现象，或是悖论，都可以在二维绘画中得到重组。在这个作品中，黑色球与白色球分别处于重力与无重力的宇宙中，白色球与黑色球相对，却被置与同一个平面并且相互依存。因为白色球处于无重力宇宙，它本可出于任何位置，画面也可以被任意方向摆放，此时没有上与下的概念。但由于处于重力世界的黑色球的介入，白色球不得不因此摆放。白色球在画与画之间逆时针旋转，也在每一幅画里无限往内逆时针旋转。此时黑色球不仅仅是限制白色球的存在，也成为了白色球所处的宇宙。
